Just minutes from Saint-Paul de Vence, this exceptional tour takes you to meet an extraordinary winemaker, discover a remarkably rare ageing method and explore a millennial city — all in a landscape where the mountains plunge into the sea.
At the Domaine des Hautes Collines, Georges and Mathias Rasse welcome you at the foot of the Baou de Saint-Jeannet — the spectacular 400-metre cliff — for a visit and tasting of their organic wines aged using a unique ancestral technique: glass jars exposed to the Provençal sun for months, without sulphites or additives. An unforgettable sensory and human experience.
Lunch follows at one of two proposed restaurants, before heading to Antibes — its ramparts plunging into the Mediterranean, its medieval lanes and museums, including the celebrated Musée Picasso.

"Longo Maï — Long may it last: the motto of a winemaker who resists and enchants"
At the foot of the Baou de Saint-Jeannet — the vertiginous cliff towering 400 metres above the village — the Domaine des Hautes Collines is a unique family vineyard. Georges Rasse, a passionate winemaker, perpetuates a technique passed down by his father René: naturally stabilising wine without sulphites or additives, using only the Provençal sun.
On the cellar terrace, dozens of clear glass jars are exposed to the sun for 3 months to 2 years. Only clear glass is used, so as not to alter the colour or aromas. This process produces unique wines with subtle oxidative profiles and a complexity rarely found on the Côte d'Azur. The Rosé Tuilé and the Longo Maï are the flagship cuvées of this house.
His son Mathias tends the vines, his brother Rémy is a painter who illustrates every label — each bottle is a work of art. Half the production is sold directly on site at remarkable prices for such quality.

"Where Greek ramparts have plunged into the Mediterranean for 2,500 years"
Antibes, founded by the Greeks under the name Antipolis in the 5th century BC, is one of the oldest cities in France. Its medieval ramparts, built on Greek and Roman foundations, plunge directly into the sea — a striking spectacle accessible on foot from the Port Vauban car park.
The old town is best explored on foot through its cobbled lanes, art galleries and artisan shops. The covered Provençal Market (Cours Masséna) is one of the most authentic on the Côte d'Azur. The Place Nationale and its terraces are perfect for a last coffee before the return journey.
Pablo Picasso lived at the Château Grimaldi during the summer of 1946 and created a series of major works there. The castle now houses the Musée Picasso, with 245 permanent works from the master's Antibes period.
